Here are Important tips when doing article marketing and Blogging for to be rated in the organic side of the search engines.
Key word research is the most important thing in article writing. Use the two free keyword tool provided under tools in this blog.
First get an idea for a key word. If you are targeting Business opportunity seekers then find a few words that people may type in when looking for a business opportunity.
You do not want it to be just business opportunity because if your type this into Google you will see the number of results for this word is in the millions.
You want to come up with words that the results are 10,000 or less.
When you have a few words with this rating plug them into the Google keyword tool and make sure under the search category that there is some green in the bar. It does not have to be much, just has to be searched.
Now you have your keywords your ready to write your article.
Type your keyword into Google search and look for some articles written on this topic if you need help.
Your Key word or phrase should be in your title, but it should not just be the title. Add some power words to it if you can. You can get free power words by typing power words into Google .
Start Writing the Body
For article marketing your article should be no less than 400 words and for Blogging no less than 200 words.
You want to have your exact keyword phrase that is in your title in your article at least 3 times. This goes for both types of articles.
The first should appear in the first paragraph,- but should not start with it.
The second should be in the middle.
The third is in the last.
You can use other similar words or phrases sprinkled in through out the article.
You want your paragraphs to only be 2 or 3 sentences, this is best to get the reader to stay and read your whole article with a line space in between each paragraph.
All these keyword will then become your tags for Blogging and keywords for article marketing.
If you wrote an article now you want to submit to article directories.
You can do this a few different ways. You can do it manually, you can set buy a directory submitter or you can have a company submit for you.
I would suggest just submitting manually to the10 best article directories with a high page rank.
You have to go into each of the article directories you chose and set up an account. Use the same user name and password; this will make it easier for you.

You can have a submitter service do it for you and they send it out to many directories in your category.
The best service for a beginner is Isnare. You can purchase to send your article out in small quantities and for somewhere at a cost of 2-3 dollars an article.
But when using a service you have to follow their guidelines and with Isnare an article has to be at least 500 words.

Craigslist is a powerful internet classified ad site that many internet marketers are totally unaware of. More than likely, there is a Craigslist site in your city or close by. Advertising on Craigslist
Go to http://craigslist.org and select the city or country on the right that you want to advertise in. Maybe start with your home city. Then scroll down near the bottom of the page, and you see the Services section, and Sm Biz Ads (Small Business Ads) This is the only place you can advertise biz opps on Craigslist. After you click on sm biz ads, the page will open up the a listing of ads.
 At the top right of the page, you sill see POST. Click on it. Then find small biz ads and click on it. At this point you may be asked for a specific area, if so, select one.Now the Ad. Enter a Posting Title. IMPORTANT: Make this key word sensitive. Meaning, you want to make the title of your ad, a key word phrase that you feel people would search for online. Google and other search engines are very Craigslist Friendly and and your ad could show up in the search results in Google in a little as 2 – 3 days.In the posting description, enter a good ad. Now you want to add your link, and you need to make it so it is hyperlinked. Depending on what you are targeting in your ad, Network Marketers, use your PIF4P link, or Home Business Opportunity Seekers, use your 3Step or CashFlow123 link. Depending on your selection of City, you ad will appear on craigslist for 1 week, up to 1 month. Part 1 – An Introduction to Forum Marketing
This will be an amazing topic. You are about to learn how the Guru’s do it. That is how they promote their site, and over time become seen as an expert in their field.
First, you ask, what is a Forum. A Forum is a place on the web that people exchange ideas and thoughts. What we are going to be looking for is Network Marketing Forums. Lets go to Google and type in Network Marketing Forums in the search. You will find many here. Some things you should look for before posting in a forum. Lots of members, and lots of activities. I will show you in a minute how to tell.

You will have to register first, before posting in any form. Lets look at the first on on the list, WAHM Forum, which stands for Work at Home Moms. This is a great forum, both for Mom’s or anyone. Once you click on the link, click on the Register button to get started.
Now, select a username, password and enter you email address, the fill in the rest as shown below. You can add your messenger ID’s if you like.

Now we need to STOP and really look at this next point. You see the box that is called “Signature” This is the most important thing in Forum Marketing. You actual posts in the Forums will not be advertising. The advertising is done by your Sig File. This must be be set up correctly. Every time you make a post in a forum, your Sig File is left after the posts. This is where other members can view you site. Different Forums have different rules on Sig Files, and different methods on making your link hyperlinked (clickable) In Wahm, this is how your sig file should look:

Now your Sig File should have a compelling line or two of text to encourage someone to actually click on it. It actually needs the code to actually click on it. In Wahm (on the picture above) I clicked on the link ‘Forum Codes) just to the left of the Signature Box, to check Wahm’s rules on. Now if I set up my Sig File exactly as above, this is how it will be seen in my posts by other users:

You notice, that “Free Online Training Blog” is clickable, and when you click on it, you will go to my site.
Spend some time on this and make a good Sig File. This will be the success of your Forum Marketing.
Now scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Register”. You will now be sent a confirmation email, that you will have to click on before you log binto your account.
Now after you have confirmed, let go to WAHM and log in. This is the Log in address:

Enter the Username and Password you selected and click on “GO”
Lets take a look at the main screen when you log in:

What you see here is all the different topics available to you to check out and post comments to. The WAHM forum is divided into many sections. This is the screen where you can see the activity in the forum. You want to be in an active forum. You can see how many people are currently in that section, How many posts, and replies there are, and when was the last post. As you see, WAHM is a very active forum.
Lets concentrate here on the busiest topics, Business Advice and Business Topics (guys post here) Join the Discussions; Meet other WAHMs (ladies post here).
Lets click on “Business Advice and Business Topics” and see what we get.

What you see above are what are called Threads. These are topics started by users. If you are a newbie, you probably will not be starting a new Thread just yet, but you want to work towards that. For now, let reply to one of the threads. So I am going to click on the one that reads “My New Blog Page”
Under the post, you see a spot for a reply. You do not have to be long and drawn out here, take a look at what I wrote, then make sure “Show Signature” is checked off and click on “Post Reply”

Now take a look at my reply, and my Signature under it.

Well folks, this is Forum Marketing. Do not stop here, try to make at least 5 post every day. Start advancing your post, by giving advice, asking questions, and congratulating people like we just did. Do not stick to just one Forum. Try posting in 2 – 3, even more. The whole key here is to get your link out there as many times as possible, and start becoming an authority in your business.
Once you have joined several forums, and are making 5 posts per day, you are ready to move on to Advanced Forum Marketing. Here I will show you how to increase your Forum presence by up to 10 times, in the same amount of time you are currently spending. Imagine how this will help your business.

Create 14 Times the Traffic from TrafficExchanges
Traffic Exchanges are an excellent way to promote your site online. Traffic Swarm is talked about above, but there are also many other good Traffic Exchanges out there. I have looked at many and found a few that I have had success with.What I am going to show you below, is how to get 14 times more results out of traffic exchanges in the same time it would take you to surf just one. Remember though, when you are surfing the traffic exchanges, take some time to look around. You can learn from some of the other ads.This set up will take an hour or so, but it will so be worth it to your business.Your first task is to join and enter all of the Traffic programs you feel comfortable with. It is NOT mandatory to join ALL the programs but I highly encourage you to do so. Just signup for one program at a time. They are all Free to Join.

The information you will want to right down, or maybe copy and paste into a Note Pad or Word Pad document for each site as you sign up is you’re User Name and Password, your SURF URL and your REFERRAL URL. You may have to log into the site after you sign up to get this information. Make sure after you sign up and log into the site that you website you are promoting is as explained above.

Once you have all this information and especially your SURF URL’s for each of the Traffic Exchanges you will have to install Crazy Browser. I prefer Crazy Browser to Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox, as it is not very resourceful on your computer, and I find I can open more site with it. You can use what you want, but it must be a tabbed browser.
This lesson is a bit longer but is an ABSOLUTE MUST for you to succeed with Traffic Exchanges.
I will break this down in 5 simple steps for you. Just do 1 step at a time and then come back to this page.Step 1: Download and install ‘Crazy Browser’ by clicking here: http://www.crazybrowser.com
I use Crazy Browser, as it is a small program and will not interfere with your current preferred Web Browser. You only need to use it when you want to Surf your Traffic ExchangesWhat the heck is a Crazy Browser?Crazy Browser is a powerful web browser. It has the ability to open multiple sites and windows inside a single browser task. This has full support for Windows XP theme and P3P privacy policy (requires IE6) and JavaScript error suppression. It can handle multiple monitors and has tab status indicators. Annoying ad windows can be removed automatically and multiple pages can be saved and reopened together.
Step 2: Crazy Browser has a feature that allows you to save any combination of URLs as individual groups.
Open Crazy Browser and in the address line type in or copy and paste the first SURF URL from your list of Traffic Exchanges. Once the page has loaded, copy and paste the 2nd SURF URL from your list. You will notice a second tab opens in Crazy Browser. Now continue to do this for all your SURF URL’S. When you are done, you will have a total of 14 Tabs open in Crazy Browser if you signed up for all the Traffic Exchanges.
Step 3: Now, click on the main menu at the top of Crazy Browser where it reads “Groups” and then click on “Save all pages as group.” A windows file window will open, give your group a name; i.e. Traffic Exchanges.
Step 4: After having done this, every time you start Crazy Browser you can simply open the saved group in the menu bar from the drop-down menu under “Groups.” When the pages finish loading, you can just press F3 to go to the next hit exchange program to bring up new pages in the manner required by each different program. When you initially open your browser you’ll be earning 1 credit in all the programs at once. That’s 14 plus credits just for opening your browser.
If you have a slow connection and/or not very powerful computer, opening 16 pages or more at the same time may be too much. In such a case try less pages until your computer is running fast enough that you are happy with it.
Step 5: Crazy Browser allows you to disable pop-ups by clicking on “Options” in the top menu bar, then on “Advanced Settings” and then on “Popup Filter” in the drop-down menu to the left.
Using this method with a cable connection I can generate 800-1500 hit credits ina little over 1 hour. You can set your own target according to your connection speed and time limits. If your Internet Connection or computer are not powerful enough for this, create 2 groups of 8 and alternate the days you sure on them.
Even without any referrals, working 14 or more traffic programs at once using this method allows you to generate a large amount of traffic. Add the traffic you can generate by sharing this method with your referrals and you are talking major streams of free traffic.
There are many different programs on the web geared to using hit exchanges to generate traffic, but they all have one thing in common – their foundation is hit page traffic generation. In that regard, what I am teaching you is a method 14 times more powerful than any of the others. It provides a way for you and all of your referrals who join the traffic programs under you in replicating it to generate 14 times the traffic.
Please Note: When you open your Crazy Browser and load your saved group name, not all the Surf 4 Hits programs will auto load to your start URL. You may have to log-in to a few of them the first time to get things going. This is an awesome tool – Happy Surfing!

Well, the title says it all folks. Again, “THE MONEY IS IN YOUR LIST”. Do not forget this. To build any successful Internet Marketing Business, you must have an autoresponder, and you must capture your prospects email address as they visit your site. Your customers may not buy the first time. You need to be constantly in contact with them, encouraging them to return to your site and buy.
This is no different than an offline business. These business usually keep in contact with you by mail. Have you ever shopped at Sears? Well, you are probably receiving Sears
Catalogues by mail, their way of encouraging you to return to their business to buy more.
If you already have an autoresponder, you can skip ahead here. If you need one, here is one that have have used for two years, and I highly recommend. Response Magic, by Platinum Synergy. A great autoresponder, affordable and a high email success rate.

After you are registered and logged into your account, the first thing you need to do is edit your personal settings.

Now complete the following fields with your information and click on Update.

Now that you got that set up, Its time to set up your List and your Welcome Message. To set up your list, after logging to Response Magic, click on Settings, List Settings, then Add a
List. You will be promoted to enter a Title for your List. This will become the List’s Name. Enter your new List’s name and click Add List. Your List has now been created. Pretty Simple hey? With Response Magic you can have as many lists as you want.
Now that you have your List created, we need to add a Welcome Message. From your Home Page in Response Magic, Select your List From the Drop Down Box near the bottom of the page.

Now click on Email Management. This Welcome Message we are about to create will be the automated message your Visitors will receive after opting into your site – I will show you later how to create that opt-in form to place on your web site. Click on ADD HTML, see where I am pointing to in the picture below.

Now in this screen, is where you write your Welcome Message. Note the use of ~~firstname~~ which personalizes your letter with your Visitors First Name. Try not to make this a Sales Letter, but more of a Personal Welcome and some information on your Product or Service. Be sure to have your contact information at the bottom, including a link to your web site, the Preview and Save your message

After you Save, click on Close and you are brought back to the messages screen. Here you can add a bunch of sales letters that can be sent out to your visitors every few days, totally automating your email marketing. Remember though, do not sent them too many emails, a couple a week encouraging them to come back to your web site is enough. When you want to create a new message, click on ADD HTML MESSAGE. You will see the field “Days from last message to send this message”. So if you want to send them a message every 3 days, you would put 3 in this field.
What I like to do, in the beginning, right after they have opted in to your list, is to send them a message 1 day after the Automated Message, then about 3 messages every 2 days, then start spreading them ut a bit. Like maybe 4 days, then 6 days. Just enough to keep them interested.
Your messages can be informational or sales orientated, do a mix of both.
As you list begins to grow, make sure to make use of the Broadcast Feature. This is great if your company is having a Sale. All you have to do is click on Broadcast, at the top of the page, then Send Broadcast. Select the list you want to broadcast to, write your message, and click on Send. This message will immediately go out to everyone on the list(s) you selected.
Now you are asking, I have my list set up, I have my messages set up. how do I get people on my list. Great question. Look to the left of this page, you will see “Join My News Letter” and under it a place to put your Name and Email. This is an opt-in form created in Response Magic and added to my page. This is one way to build a list. Another way to to build a capture page. This is a page, with only a small amount of information about your company, but an opt-in form the visitor must fill out to continue further. You will have to decide which way is best for your web site.
To create the opt-in form so it works with Response Magic, log into your Response Magic, click on Tools, Generate Signup. Now, select the List that you want to use for this form. This will be the list that the Visitors information will go in to. The Form Title, is what you will see at the top of the Opt-in Box. The From Address will be your email address. Now, check off which fields you want on the form, in addition to their email address. My personal experience here, is the less information you ask for the better. Only if you are selling an high end product, and you intend to personally call each Visitor, should you be requesting their Phone Number.
The most important part of the Form is the URL. If you are using this form on a Capture Page, the URL should be the web address that you want the Visitor to be directed to after filling out the form. This will be your main web site. If you are putting the form on your Main Web Site, then you can do two thing here. Use your Main Web Site address, and the Visitor will be brought right back to your Main Web Site, or create a Thank You Page, that your Visitor will arrive on after completing the form, and this page will thank them for joining your list.
There are two other options to fill out, then click on Create Form. See the picture below to clarify.

After you click on Create Form, Response Magic will create the HTML code for you to place on your web site. Once you place this code on your Web Site, you can edit the size and colors of the form with your favorite HTML editor.
If you are marketing an Affiliate Program, and do not have access to change your Web Site, you can still build a list by creating your own Capture Page with your opt-in form on it. You will need your own domain name, and web hosting to do this. This is not expensive, or really that difficult. I suggest going to GibSales and registering a domain name and choosing one of their inexpensive Web Hosting and Web Site Building Packages.
